Fields of Learning is a non-profit organization (registered 501(c)3) founded by the Ferguson family of Kirtland Hills, Ohio for the purpose of encouraging Ohio High School Students to write and submit essays about something they learned as a result of High School Football.  It is our intent to read and evaluate all essays received, select the best ones, and award scholarship money for continuing education for the winning writers.

For the 2009-2010 school year, we are offering 4 scholarships of either $500 or $1000.  We have created a web site at www.fieldsoflearning.org which contains the complete explanation of our program, how to enter the competition, what scholarships will be awarded for 2009-2010, and how the essays will be judged.
