Academics

It was hard at Berkeley, because teachers and professors aren’t really into sports there. They definitely did not cut breaks. Even though you had a game that weekend, you had to turn in a test or paper on time like everybody else. Keep in mind, as a college athlete, there isn’t a life outside of academics and your sport. College sports are a year-round commitment; there’s never time to relax and . . . just be a “normal student.”

Parnell Taylor was choosen to play in the North v South All-star game, and Coach Lunardi was honored by his peers to coach in this game that will be played at OSU Friday April 23, 2010.

The Ohio High School Football Coaches Association is proud to recognize Zach Thomas of Ravenna High School as a member of the 2009 academic all Ohio Football Team.  Only 111 student-athletes from more than 35,000 players thoughout Ohio were regognized for this prestigious award.  To qualify,the honoree must exhibit exemplary academic performance in combination with outstanding athletic ability.

Congrats gentlemen!

Football Camps, 2011 Seven years old to Freshmen Class PDF Print E-mail

Ravenna High School football program is proud to announce its 5th annual football camp for children between the ages of 7 years old and 14 years old (Freshmen).  These camps are organized by Coach Lunardi and coached by the freshmen and middle school coaching staff.

Each registered player will receive a camp T-shirt and a Pizza Party at the end of the camp.
The camp fee of $20.00 will include instruction from the Brown Middle School and Freshmen High School Football Coaches for four evenings to prepare for the 2010 Ravenna Football season.

Be sure to wear your Ravenna Raven colors (royal blue, white, and/or red) and your football spikes or running shoes.

C team camp 7 and 8 year olds - July 12th & 13th from 6:00 — 8:00 p.m. at Ravenna High School Stadium.  Clcik here for pdf registration from.
